PrimaLuceSpace is the space division of PrimaLuceLab SpA, an Italian company founded in 2013 by entrepreneurs Filippo Bradaschia and Omar Cauz, was created to develop innovative solutions to explore Space from Earth. Our mission is to provide professional-grade technologies at affordable prices, catering to astronomers, educational institutions (schools, universities, science museums), and research users (scientific institutes, space agencies). Our products range from advanced astronomy devices that enhance telescopes for astrophotographers worldwide to complete astronomical observatories and ground stations designed for astronomy education, research, and remote space mission support. We handle all aspects in-house, from design and integration to testing and delivery.

The company began at the Pordenone Science Center “Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico Andrea Galvani” and expanded in 2017 to a larger headquarters to support the development of large-scale instruments. Today, PrimaLuceLab’s team includes skilled individuals (engineers, designers, software developers, and expert users), with headquarters in Porcia (PN, Italy), housing a laboratory, warehouse, and workshop.

Italy plays a significant role in the global space industry, serving as a valuable partner to major international space organizations. PrimaLuceLab actively supports international projects and initiatives in astronomy and space applications, collaborating with educational and research institutions worldwide. Starting by 2015 PrimaLuceLab’s products have been shown in the most important astronomy and space events like International Astronautical Congress, Meeting of American Astronomical Society, International Astronomical Union, SpaceCom and Space Tech Expo.
