The C400-HEAVY pier is specifically designed for the SPIDER 500A radio telescope and GS-400 antenna tracking system, to have them permanently installed in the field on a concrete base. The C400-HEAVY pier is installed on a reinforced concrete base, fixed by means of special high strength bolts.
